About Us

I have been making quilts for more than twenty years. I was inspired by my Grandmother's sweet quilts. She pieced and quilted her quilts by hand. My first quilts were machine pieced but also quilted by hand. "That's the only way to make a real quilt." Isn't that what all of us heard when we started quilting? Boy, have things changed. I can now make a quilt in a couple days with more precise and stronger stitches. With the Statler Stitcher, the patterns can match the quilt theme and not just some repetitious stippling that has been used for years. This tool gives me so many options and still have the ablity to have fun free motion when the quilt calls for it.

This is a portion of a quilt my Grandmother, Martha Ramey, created in late 1940's. Each of her children and grandchildren has a piece.

Our Business

This is an up and coming family business that wants to put the pleasure, compassion and warmth back into the world. There is so much history and family ties in quilt making. It links generation after generation together. Men and women can find comfort in a quilt that was made by a loved friend or family member.
